Hello Everyone,

I wanted to reach out to our entire VITA/TCE program network to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that you may have experienced last week during the service interruptions of the TaxSlayer software. We have heard from many of you and we truly understand your frustration and concerns about your ability to meet taxpayer expectations. We want you to know that your passion and commitment to provide quality service to taxpayers has not gone unnoticed.

We have been working closely with our partners at TaxSlayer to resolve the issues that occurred and mitigate any potential issues in the future. Together we want to assure you that we will do everything possible to ensure that we deliver a successful filing season. I have also attached a PDF letter from Brian Rhodes, President/CEO of TaxSlayer to all of you expressing his commitment to this partnership and the overall success of the VITA/TCE program.

We can never take for granted the amount of time and resources that are devoted to assist the millions of taxpayers you serve. Your contributions are invaluable. Thank you again for your patience and support throughout this transition.
