Link and Learn – For Coordinators

HOW-TO: Enable the Site Coordinator Course within Link and Learn

Welcome new Site Coordinators!

NEW TO VITA: If you have NEVER created an IRS Link and Learn online account before, please jump to the bottom of this webpage for detailed instructions on how to do it!

EXPERIENCED VITA VOLUNTEER: All other experienced volunteers may read the information below to see screenshots on how to quickly activate the Site Coordinator “Test” within Link and Learn.

 
 


Instructions for experienced VITA volunteers

STEP ONE: Go to the IRS Link and Learn website (http://linklearncertification.com) and login using your username and password.

 


STEP TWO: Click on “My Account”.

 


STEP THREE: Then click on “Yes” for “Do you want to take the Site Coordinator Course?” and save your account modifications.

 
YOU DID IT! You should now be able to see the Site Coordinator Training module!


 
 


Instructions for those new to VITA

STEP ONE: Go to the IRS Link and Learn website (http://linklearncertification.com) and click on the blue “Create Account” button.

 
You should be taken to a webpage that looks like this!


STEP TWO: Click on “Select a group” in the drop-down menu.

 
You will see the following group options. Choose “01 – VITA Volunteer”


STEP THREE: Click on “Yes” for “Do you want to take the Site Coordinator Course?”


STEP FOUR: Complete the rest of the form! Then click on the Register button.

NOTE: Only the starred fields in red are required. You need not complete the SEID, Professional Status, and PTIN fields if those do not apply to you.

 


SUCCESS! Once registered, you should be able to view the Site Coordinator module, in addition to the other IRS Certification exams!
